    Our first sale of Fall offers all the better items from a small Manchester Vermont home including a collection of Staffordshire figurines, fine Victorian Wicker, & County Furniture & Smalls. From a downsized Spiegletown NY collector – good country smalls, quilts, & country furniture. And from a Schuylerville NY home more Country.   
    Combined with 50+ Antique Maps, and Books from various homes – an interesting mixture.         Come & Have Fun!


      FURNITURE EARLY/COUNTRY to incl: strongly figured early tiger maple 2 drawer server w/cookie corners and Sandwich opalescent glass pulls. Crisply grain painted blanket box t/til on turned legs. Nice 5’2” pumpkin pine 4 door cupboard. Early blanket box w/til & strap hinges in orig vinegar grain paint. 19thC rocking  mammy’s bench w/fence (only 44” wide), Early Hudson River high chair. Unusual 19thC 5’7” paneled door gun cupboard w/interior drawers. Nice small (only 34” wide) early dovetailed blanket box  w/til on turned legs in orig dark mustard yellow paint. Unusual oval top cottage 1 drawer stand in strong tiger maple. Good 2 door mid 19thC screen pie safe on turned legs in old (not original) paint (needs door screens replaced). Honest old farm wood box in old greenish tinged gray paint. Early 4 post canopy bed. Cherry swing leg long drop leaf dining table. Pumpkin pine doughbox w/lid on base. C.1840 mahogany & tiger maple 2 drawer stand. Early corner cupboard (purchased from “Black Shutters” in the 1970’s). Early stands incl country Hepplewhite, tilt-tops, etal. Schoolmaster’s desk on tapered legs, & more. VICTORIAN: nice 7’ tall walnut double door bookcase on drawered base. Exceptional 19thC 43” tall inlaid burl walnut Canterbury stand w/drawer at base. Lg oval white marble top stand. Good original varnish lady’s oak vanity w/oval beveled mirror  & chair (w/history of coming from Manchester’s Equinox Hotel). Minty large c.1875 cherry Eastlake chest w/lg bev mirror above & intricate spindled crest. Large rectangular mahogany pedestal base dining table. Set 8 sabre leg  mahogany dining chairs. C.1875 ebonized lady’s slant lid desk. Nice 7’ tall 2 part hard pine country secretary desk w/fall front desk & cubby holes interior, etc.

            FINE WICKER minty Victorian white wicker tete-a-tete chair. Exc 20’s oak top natural wicker lady;s writing desk. Ornate Victorian white wicker photographer’s chair. 2 ornate Victorian white rocking chairs & ornate white armchair. White lamp table w/fancy stick & ball skirt. Excellent 20’s/30’s white rocking chair w/matching armchair, etal. FINE WIRE excellent old 3 tier wire half round plant stand.

            MID CENTURY minty teak rectangular dining table w/refractory leaves (opens to 9’) signed “Vejle Stole og Mobelfabrik”, sold together with 6 dining room chairs. Signed “Illums Bolighus” coffee table. Small teak cabinet w/drawer above sliding doors. Sg “Moller Models” chair. Full size mid-century bed.

COLLECTION 50+PCS STAFFORDSHIRE in generally fine condiiton including 32 figures identified as to subject/scene, 2 watch hutches, pairs, spill vases, large figurines, etc.

OTHER neat 1970’s/80’s found metals 53 ½” tall sculpture of 2 roosters signed “Heise” (Vermont’s well known William “Bill” Heise). 10’2” x 16’8” Persian oriental rug w/center medallion. Very pretty 5’4” French style floral inlaid bronze mounted collector’s cabinet/vitrine w/complex serpentine glass door. Cute small pyrographically decorated open shelves bookcase & pyrographically decorated beveled oval wall mirror w/coat hooks.
