40+ PAINTINGS from a hoard of Art found in a Granville Estate. From 19thC pastorals to European paintings to 50’s Modernist. Some by listed artists, some signed & not found. Floral or fruit sill lifes, Animals, portraits, framed English grave rubbings, & what-not. Some paintings sold individually, some in groups by subject matter, & some needing restoration in groups.
QUALITY KARASTAN CARPETS: 3 room size Karastan carpets include one like new condition with matching 15’5” Karastan runner. Like new Karastan 4’3” x 6’ Bidjar pattern scatter rug. 2 1930’s/40’s Chinese Oriental scatter rugs. 2 old Hamadan scatter rugs, et al.
QUANTITY FURNITURE: early cherry country Chippendale graduated 5 drawer chest. Good looking modern Stickley solid cherry 12 drawer apothecary type chest. 1960’s doctor’s office furniture incl small minty green metal storage cabinet, pair beige & black metal storage cabinets, & 2 examination tables. Good golden oak Hoosier cabinet w/tambour roll and slag glass panels at tops of doors. Neat set 4 signed & dated Roy Egg folk art paint decorated kitchen chairs. Quality 1940’s mahogany sideboard. Mid 1800’s 4 drawer maple tall chest w/some figured maple. Victorian walnut marble top commode w/high marble backsplash and walnut 4 drawer marble top chest. Nice oval walnut Victorian parlor stand. Exc modern custom made pine top Farm Table (top 29” x 6’6”). Exc c.1910 mahogany hall table w/heavily carved base. Good c.1910 mahogany slant lid desk w/carved lid. Modern Stickley solid cherry chest w/lg mirror (ht 6’10”). Pair good Drexel mahogany chests. C.1920 mahogany 6’10” fluted 4 post bed (full modern double size). Pretty paint decorated coffee table. Nice rustic bench. 1940’s lectern. BATHTUB: fine antique clawfoot cast iron bathtub together with all the modern brass fixtures needed to hook up & use. Modern 6’2” suit of armor (in case you live in a castle and are short of help). Pretty pair modern solid cherry Stickley very small size 4 drawer chests (used at ends of sofa to support table lamps). 40’s mahogany lowboy. Antique round oak dining table w/4 orig leaves, & more good useable Furniture.
SMALLS: scarce handled 28 ½” Griswold cast iron griddle (911, 11). Exc Questar telescope w/manuals, tripod, & carrying case. Good candlestick telephone with oak bell box. Neat 40’s rotating dice cage. Brass frame pull-down kero lamp w/orig floral painted shade. 2 old violins w/cases. 5’ tables full various tools & old lathe. 50pc service for 8 Liberty Blue china. 2 good OG mirrors. 20’s brass “flying saucer” lighting fixture w/4 good glass shades. Lot of 8+ glass shades for flying saucer type fixtures. Set 6 framed 1845 colored English coaching prints by Fores. Very nice modern leaded stained glass Tiffany type table lamp, and MORE.
